| Greetings!
Believe it or not, I already know something about you and I know what your needs are. Here's your profile: You consider yourself good at what you do. You have a diverse skill set dominated by various technical skills related to IT, IS, MIS, engineering or programming. You have a great deal of confidence in yourself and believe you can be good at whatever you put your mind to, but have a need, if not a passion, to use some or all of your technical skills. Those of you who have been in the labor market for some time are now relying more and more on your business, management and/or interpersonal skills, but you miss the hands-on technical work. You're too busy to keep a curriculum vitae or resume current. In fact, your resume hasn't even been on your mind until recently, and your work and personal demands simply do not allow you time to regularly review and update your resume. You've probably passed up a few career opportunities because you didn't have an updated resume handy that you could submit on short notice. You've made a reasonable income in the past, but you know you can do better. You probably had a hard time bringing your resume up to date the last time you tried doing so, because you couldn't remember important details about some of the projects and activities you've worked on in the past. How did I do? Did I describe you pretty well? If you've read this far, I'm probably right on target. I've been in your position; too busy with everyday activities to sit down two or three times a year to update my resume. That's one of the reasons I prepared the Work Success Diary which I'm offering free of charge to my techie friends and colleagues. Go ahead. Download a copy for yourself. It's absolute free. My only request is that you tell three of your friends about the Work Success Diary. I hope you will actually use it. But here's what will generally happen. Most of you will open it, look at it, and like the concept. You tell yourself you need to complete it soon. Of those who take a look at it, a minority will actually set some time aside to complete it as much as possible, and even fewer will bother to maintain it over time. And this is exactly why I've changed the focus of ITtalent.com and decided to start offering a resume management service. I knew I would never be able to compete effectively with the well-funded career sites like Monster.com, Hotjobs.com, Dice.com and others. However, based on 17 years of career counseling, having successfull owned and managed ITtalent.com since 1998, having reviewed tens of thousands of resumes over the years and having worked in the IT industry myself as a VP of Training and Project Manager, I have learned what your needs are and how I can help you achieve your career goals and aspirations. Here's my service offering.
